Kite block Each block measures 10" finished. They make superb cushions and are a striking, yet classical look when used with Japanese indigo fabrics. You couls use any simple tone on tone fabric, or even try it with plain colours or calico. The origami is simple yet very effective. |

I was insired by a wooden stacking puzzle I bought from the Te Papa Store some years ago. A brilliant way to use up scraps of fabrics, especially bits of bindings form quilts. You could make your matresses out of squares or triangles, or leave the princess off! Free "love to stitch" quilt tag included. As usual we include pre-reversed appliqué pattern pieces and full sized placement diagrams. |

Percy Pukeko Wall Hanging Pattern Pack This pattern was inspired by Percy Pukeko. The mini quilt is pegged on and may be reversed. A nice way to announce the arrival of a new child. Stitch as a "Welcome to our nest" wall hanging, cushions or use the blocks in CQ01 the quilt above to make a pukeko quilt for a single bed. Free "love to stitch" quilt tag included. |
